In it’s second year, Chef Karl’s Country Boil delivered a bounty of food, really good beer and great times by the pool. The Handlery Hotel is very skilled at running events and they came through again.
For $25 you got 3/4 of a pound of crawfish, 1/2 pound of shrimp, 1/2 pound of spicy andouille sausage, steamed red potatoes and corn on the cob. Cooked in the chef’s own spicy boil, everything was flavorful with an extra kick. Societe Brewing was on hand, your first beer was included in the ticket cost, with the Harlot and the Debutante to fill your glass with amazing craft beer.
The atmosphere at the pool is always relaxed and fun; people enjoyed their meals and drinks while Christopher Dale provided the live tunes. Enjoy a few pictures of what you missed and join me at the Handlery’s next craft beer event NKOTB2.
