It’s been a long time since I invented a new type of serial post, so now there’s the Sore Eye Files for you! Here’s the premise, I dig into my phone and find a bunch of pictures to reminisce with you about the awesome and charmed life I get to live. Member January? Oooh, I member. I started the year off right at Tiger! Tiger! on the 2nd!I followed that up with an awesome brunch at S&M on the 3rd.My first visit to Bitter Brothers happened on the 4th. Man, they are one of my favorite breweries to open this year.Got some holiday Disney in on the 9thVisited to the ’14 Sore Eye Cup on the 10thHad the world famous triple threat at Carnita’s Snack Shack on the 11th, I’m noticing I really started the year off pretty freaking well!Went to Murder Mystery Cafe with my beautiful wife, (not pictured) mom, and grandma on the 16th.Celebrated my 10th anniversary with K-Co Construction on the 22nd (actual date was the 5th) and this was my prize! They knew I would want this much more than a watch.I was interviewed by John Horn from 10 News on the 28th about my opposition to 10 Barrel getting a conditional use permit from our city to open a brewpub in East Village, my opposition still stands.I closed out the month strong with a Bruery brunch at Toronado. If you love beer and food you need to attend one of their monthly brunches, it’s that simple, go!
